The area is named after the historic water way that runs through the neighborhood. Bayou St. John is a great spot for picnics with a nice bottle of wine or take a short walk up Esplanade Avenue to the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Besthoff Sculpture Garden and City Park. And if you get hungry we have many fine restaurants to choose from right outside our front door.
